Malaysia's 1st Astronaut at Solaire's Hangar
On the 22nd of March,2009, Dato' Dr. Sheikh Muzaffar Shukor, Malaysia's 1st astronaut came to Solaire Hangar. He came and received our golden services and enjoyed his stay here before he is off for his scheduled flight that evening from our hangar.
Our staff who were on duty that Sunday, had a chance to meet him and were honored to be able to have a photo shoot or two with him. Photos attached explained their happiness and excitement in their faces.
Dato' Dr.Sheikh Muzaffar who received his Dato’ship in conjunction of his active participant in educating the younger generations of Malaysia on the importance of standing firm on your dreams and goals. He inspires young Malaysian children to believe in their dreams. And we are getting more and more feedback on children wanting to become astronauts…
Dato’ Dr. Sheikh Muzaffar had mentioned one of his dream is to become a pilot, hope he can put the dream to reality as he did with going into space!
